Dance Of The Manchines

about

This was one of the last tracks in a series of psychedelic ' acid acapella' sessions, of which 'Call Of The Akasha' is the first session. I only used basslines and effects, exploring both the sound of the devices, and the atmosphere they create.

(I will try to add all those recordings to this album eventually, but I need to cut them up in smaller pieces to get em up here.)

Here in this tracks I add a drumkick, closed hat and snare, but still in a very modest way :) Leaving everything to the basslead.

I always liked this one very much, though it can be a bit demanding on your speakers and ears, careful !! What I like particularly is how the Acidlab almost gets a 'wooden' sound to it, thanks to the effects, and gives a somewhat 'percussive' impression to the whole track.

TB-303 and The Acodlab Bassline 1 going through korg Electribe MX-SX.
